Tough, comfortable head protection for almost any occasion

Your head is your number one asset. (We think so, anyway…) That’s why protecting it has to be your number one priority. The right head and face protection— like cool hard hats, safety face shields and safety helmets — can help you keep your head in the game.

Stay safe at the construction site (and beyond)

Working at a construction site can be challenging. That’s why you have to protect yourself. This starts with getting the right PPE: an OSHA and ANSI approved construction hard hat and protective eye gear.

But, what else do you need? That depends on your site.

  • If your construction site is filled with loud machines and equipment, hearing protection with earplugs and earmuffs can help protect your hearing. (And keep your ears from ringing too.) You can opt for an all-in-one construction helmet that comes with ear protection or choose your own.
  • If your site is outside safety eyewear with UV protection can help protect your eyes. You can get ones with clear lenses for easy reading or with darkened lenses for looking extra cool.
  • If your site experiences dust and chemical vapors, wearing a safety face shield can keep these undesirables away from your mouth, nose and eyes.

How OSHA and ANSI standards protect you

OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and ANSI (The American National Standards Institute) create their safety standards to protect professionals like you. But how do they know what’s safe and what isn’t? By bringing in experts of course. From both the private and public sector. Together, these professionals design the standards that make everyone a little bit safer.

That’s why safety equipment you use should meet the OSHA and ANSI. (Most job sites only accept equipment that meets those standards anyway.)

Turn your environment into an ally

Working on an outdoor site? Or a mixed indoor/outdoor site? Then the weather can be a friend or a foe. Here’s how to make it an ally:

  • Wear protective eyewear. You can get safety glasses that come with tinted lenses for extra shade. Make sure they’re scratch resistant and anti-fog – this way you can just add them to your toolbox without worrying too much. Just make sure you choose a model that comes with UV protection.
  • Shield your face from the world. A face shield can keep debris, chemicals and splashes away from your face. Or instead of getting everything separately, you can get a safety helmet that comes with a face shield.
  • Shut off the word. Or the unpleasant sounds of drilling anyway. Earmuffs can drastically reduce “bad” noise and make the work more enjoyable.
